The following have been chosen randomly from numerous always successfully implemented projects:

  • Diverse projects for creation of a concept of control and development of a control unit to remote control (through CAN Bus) six-axis robots, amongst others intended for automatic generation of packaging and palletising master patterns. For these projects we carried out, amongst others, the automatic recognition of individual package images, coming from a camera installed on the robot, and the programming of the industrial robot. Start-up and on-site assistance. Industrial robots from manufacturer KUKA. 
  • Diverse projects for support of development of an administration system for manufacturing and assembling with an integrated stock and shipment administration units. For these projects the development of different interfaces was carried out for coupling the system in different industrial scales, industrial printers for automatic creation of bar code labels, industrial scanners and the development of a standard interface for an upstream SAP system. This system was set up, amongst others, by companies Haro, Krupp Thyssen and Risse & Wilke.
  • Development of a system for remote supervision and control of escalators and lifts on the Underground line in New-Delhi (India). All the escalators and lifts were connected through a bus communication system. For this project the following tasks were carried out, amongst others:
    1. Preparing a concept for the full communication system (on the hardware and software levels).
    2. Definition and conceptualisation of different communication protocols.
    3. Development of a configurable system for remote control and supervision, which was installed in each underground station. Each system communicates with different escalators and lifts by means of a serial bus.
    4. Programming gateways as a bus converter, as well as protocols for communication with a previously placed system.
    5. Programming the control of escalators. (Programming of microcontrollers and supervision of motor frequencies and sensors)
    6. Programming displays of escalators.
    7. Creation of specifications, conditions schedules and manuals in different languages.
    8. On-site assistance.

    This project was performed for company Kone GMBH.

  • Development of a system for remote supervision and control of escalators in web technology for Munich municipal authorities. Escalators had to be connected to the transmission network over a LAN interface. The following tasks, amongst others, were carried out for this project:
    1. Creation of a requirement specification
    2. Planning and coordination of the project.
    3. Conceptualising of the communication system (on the hardware and software levels)
    4. Programming the control of all the escalators for adjusting their functionalities at the customer’s request
    5. Programming gateways for converting the protocol and the bus.
    6. Support in the development of the web system
    7. Control and supervision of the motor frequency converter, and control and supervision of the braking travel of escalators.
    8. Control and supervision of the heater, temperature sensors and different escalator sensors.
    9. On-site commissioning.

    This project was performed for the company Etteplan Engineering.

  • Development of a bus system based on CAN with its own protocol. The following tasks, amongst others, were carried out for this project:
    1. Conceptualisation of the bus and the protocol (on the hardware and software levels).
    2. Creation of a schedule of conditions and a specifications document.
    3. Implementation on hardware and software level of the bus system in all the electronic modules of the manufacturer in Spain for automation of buildings. Selection of electronic components and checking diagrams
    4. Programming of diverse microcontrollers.
    5. Implementation, amongst others, of the following properties: supervision and control of actuators and sensors. Modification, suppression and reading of the firmware for all the modules. Configuring the modules through the bus.
    6. Development of a system for supervision, control, programming and configuration based on a PC.
    7. Development of an intelligent repeater (design of the hardware and development of the software)
    8. Development of gateways (design of hardware and development of the software).
    9. Development of control units for automation of buildings.
